Conservation laws of discrete Korteweg-de Vries equation (Q2495142)

In the present study the authors deal with a modified version of Hydon's direct method, and use it to derive conservation laws of the discrete Korteweg-de-Vries equation: \[ (p+q+v_{k+1}^{\ell+1}-v_k^\ell)(q-p+v^\ell_{k+1}-v_k^{\ell+1})=q^2-p^2,\tag{1} \] which is an integrable quad-graph equation. Here \(p,q\) are parameters and \(p^2 \neq q^2\). The main results of this paper are as follows: (a) New conservation laws for the (1) have been found. (b) These include higher-order conservation laws, which are irrational. To this end the authors use computer algebra.
