The author considers the Ishikawa iteration process with mixed errors in the sense of L. S. Liu for accretive Lipschitzian mappings in Banach space. By imposing some conditions on the parameters, the author establishes strong convergence theorems for Ishikawa and generalized Ishikawa type iterative sequences, to the unique fixed points of continuous, Lipschitzian and accretive selfmaps of real Banach spaces. The results are improvements of those of S. Ishikawa (1974) and L. S. Liu (1998).
