Metrizability of spaces and J. Nagata's problem (Q2495273)

The so-called \(g\)-functions are a powerful tool in order to characterize the metrizability of topological spaces. In the past years, J. Nagata has done some research on metrizability by \(g\)-functions. In this paper the concept of weak \(g\)-functions is introduced. Some metrization theorems are given by weak \(g\)-functions.
