The authors enlarge the SierpiƄski Theorem (any countable subset of the transformation monoid \(T(X)\) on an infinite set \(X\) is contained in a 2-generated subsemigroup of \(T(X)\)) for the endomorphism monoid of an arbitrary algebra: Let \(A\) be an algebra with an infinite basis. Then any countable subset of \(\text{End}(A)\) is contained in a 2-generated subsemigroup of \(\text{End}(A)\).
