Inverse spectral problems and closed exponential systems (Q2496972)

The author provides conditions under which the specification of the eigenvalues of the Sturm-Liouville operator \(Ly:=-y''+q(x)y,\;0<x<\pi,\) with separated boundary conditions, and the knowledge \(q\) for \(x\in (0,a),\, 0\leq a<\pi,\) uniquely determines \(q\) for \(x\in (a,\pi).\)
