\textit{P. Lévy} [J. École Polytechn., III. Sér. 144, 227--247 and 249--291 (1938; Zbl 0019.37201)] gave a representation for the self-similar planar curve that bears his name using binary expansions, but elementary expressions for the coordinate functions are not readily apparent from this representation. In this paper, explicit formulas for the coordinates are expressed in the form \(\sum_i 2^{-i}k_i\) where \(k_i\) takes on the value \(-1, 0\), or \(1\) as determined by the first \(i-1\) terms in the quaternary expansion of the independent variable. The level sets of the coordinate functions are then used to show that the graphs of the coordinate functions have Hausdorff dimension \(3/2\).
