The author opens by giving a detailed discussion of the properties of the delta function. He then sets out the detailed solution of a problem associated with the field between two parallel plates, presumably but not explicitly stated to the perfect conductions. Unfortunately it is not clear what the problem he discusses is. The author also suggests applications of delta function associated with a general \(\mathbb{R}^N\).
