Over a domain \(R\), Matlis category equivalence establishes a natural equivalence of categories between \(C:=\{ h\)-divisible torsion modules\(\} \) and \(D:=\{ \)complete torsion-free modules\(\} \). Inside \(C\), a subclass \(C_0\) is given by all weak injective (torsion) modules, an even smaller subclass is given by all (torsion) injective modules. One result is: In the above equivalence, \(C_0\) corresponds to the class of all Enochs cotorsion (torsion-free) modules. In addition, a complete answer is given to the following question: For which \(k\) exists a pure-injective \(h\)-divisible module \(D\) with \(\text{injdim}_R(D)=k\)? The answer is: Precisely for \(0\leq k\leq \text{w.gl.d.} R-1\) (w.gl.d. \(R\) is the weak global dimension of \(R\)).
