A Hadamard matrix of order \(n\) is an \(n\times n\) matrix \(H\) with entries \( \pm 1\) such that \(HH^{t}=nI\). It is conjectured that a Hadamard matrix of order \(n>2\) exists if \(n\) is an arbitrary multiple of \(4\). In the present paper the authors construct infinite families of Hadamard matrices of order \( 4q^{2}\) for some prime power \(q\). The approach is based on \(16\)th and \( (q+1)\)th cyclotomic classes.
