One of the main results of the paper states that under the following hypotheses: 1. \(\sup(| g(s, x)| , | \frac{\partial g}{\partial x}(s, x)|) \leq G(s)\phi(x)\), for some measurable function \(G\) and bounded function \(\phi\); 2. \(| K(t, s)| \leq K_1(t)K_2(s)\), \(| V(t, s)| \leq V_1(t)V_2(s)\), for some continuous functions \(K_1, V_1\) and \(K_2 \in L^1([a, b])\); 3. \(G V_2 \in L^1([a, b])\) 4. \(| | K_1| | _\infty | | K_2| | _1 <1\) and \(K(t, s) =0\), for \(s >t\); \smallskip \noindent the equation \[ x(t) = f(t) + \int_a^bK(t, s)x(s)\;ds + \int_a^b V(t, s)g(s, x(s))\;ds, \quad t \in [a, b] \] with \(f\in C([a, b])\), has a solution in \(C([a, b])\).
