On Ritt's decomposition theorem in the case of finite fields (Q2500605)

The authors generalize a theorem of Ritt stating that all decomposition chains of a univariate polynomial satisfying certain tameness conditions have the same length. Their generalization is to the case of finite coefficient fields where the tameness condition is dropped.
