The paper deals with the asymptotic stability of linear neutral systems with multiple time delays. A new stability criterion is derived in terms of spectral radius of modulus matrices. Moreover, two illustrative examples are given to show that the criterion obtained is less conservative then those in the literature. The author also points out a misleading statement in a paper of Won and Park.
