The authors consider parallelisms \({\mathcal P}\) in PG\((3,q)-q=p^r\), \(p\) prime -- admitting an automorphism group \({\mathcal G}\) that fixes one spread and acts transitively on the remaining spreads in \({\mathcal P}\). Under mild assumptions on \({\mathcal G}\) or on \(q\) they show that -- the fixed spread is Desarguesian, -- the associated group \({\mathcal G}\) contains an elation group of order \(q^2\) acting on the fixed spread, -- the remaining spreads of the parallelism are isomorph derived conical flock spreads.
