The aim of the authors is to introduce a sequence of the critical exponents \(\{p= p_k,k\geq 0\}\) for \[ u_t= \Delta(|u|^{m-1} u)- |u|^{p-1}u\quad\text{in }\mathbb{R}^d\times \mathbb{R}_+\tag{1} \] with exponents \(m> 1\), \(p> 1\), which corresponds to special non-scaling invariant asymptotic behaviour of solutions as \(t\to\infty\). It is important that such critical asymptotic phenomena are not exceptional and are a common feature for other equations with power nonlinearities. As the second example, the authors extend to results to the fully nonlinear dual porous-medium equation \(u_t= |\Delta u|^{m-1}\Delta u-|u|^{p-1}u\) in \(\mathbb{R}^d\times \mathbb{R}_+\) with \(p> 1\), \(m> 1\).
