The paper studies the molecular displacements associated with deformation-induced, and the continuous changes of the minimum in the potential energy landscape of an amorphous solid quenched at zero temperature. Then one uses the normal mode decomposition of fields to get more insight in elasticity and then one considers visco-elasticity.
