Let \(X\), \(Y\) be topological spaces. A mapping \(f:X\times Y\to Z\) has the Namioka property if there exists a dense \(G_{\delta}\) set \(A\subset X\) such that \(f\) is jointly continuous at each point of \(A\times Y\). \(Y\) is a Kempisty space if for any Baire space \(X\) every function \(f: X\times Y\to {\mathbb R}\) which is quasi-continuous in the first variable and continuous in the second variable has the Namioka property. Properties of compact Kempisty spaces are studied in the paper under review. In particular, it is shown that products of compact Kempisty spaces are Kempisty spaces.
