The aim of this paper is to improve the estimates obtained by \textit{T. Kulczycki} [Probab. Math. Stat. 19, No. 2, 337--374 (1999; Zbl 0986.60071)] for the Green function, the Poisson kernel and the Martin kernel of circular cones, for symmetric \(\alpha\)-stable processes \(X_t\) in \(\mathbb R^d\) \((\alpha\in (0,2)\), \(d\geq 2)\). The estimates are sharp. The characteristic exponent of these estimates is proved to be a continuous function of the aperture of the cone. A basic tool in the proofs is the boundary Harnack principle, as proved by \textit{R. Song} and \textit{J.-M. Wu} [J. Funct. Anal. 168, No. 2, 403--427 (1999; Zbl 0945.31006)].
