The paper presents the results of analytical integrations for boundary integrals appearing in BEM formulations for two-dimensional elastostatic boundary value problems when the boundary element is a straight or a circular arc. The calculations use the exact parametrisation of boundary geometry within an element and quadratic interpolations for boundary densities of physical fields. The analytical integration gives accurate results for structures containing only straight line boundaries even if the length ratio between two adjacent elements is large or the structure is extremely narrow. The results of analytical integration generally show faster convergence with mesh refinement than those obtained by numerical integration.
