The authors consider the following question: Let for every proper subgroup of a group the normal closure be a proper subgroup. Is the derived subgroup of the group also a proper subgroup? The authors are able to obtain a positive answer to this question in the case when the group is a Fitting \(p\)-group all subgroups of which satisfying some additional restriction.
