Quantum cosmology is an outstanding area of theoretical physics research today. The impact of certain important results emerging from this field is of unlimited value. The authors have revisited in their current work the classical as well as quantum cosmology of a universe in which a self-interacting scalar field is coupled to gravity with a flat FRW type metric undergoing continuous signature transition. The initial idea of signature change due to Hartle and Hawking is used with proper dual solutions. The studies in this direction are of great significance in the context of considerations of the early universe, a hot topic of scientific investigation. In the second section some dual classical solutions are discussed while in the third section a self-dual quantum cosmology is treated. The fourth section is on distributed classical solutions and the final part includes a detailed, general discussion. It is pointed out that the correspondence between the quantum states and the classical loci is independent of certain scale transformations on the parameter space.
