Integral representations of the cyclic group \(\mathbb{Z}_p\) of prime order \(p\) were described by Diedrichsen and Reiner. Each such representation is a direct sum of representations \(a\mathbb{Z}\oplus\mathfrak a_1\oplus\cdots\mathfrak a_b \oplus E_1\oplus\cdots E_c\) of \(a\) copies of \(\mathbb{Z}\), \(b\) irreducible representations in \(\mathbb{Z}^{p-1}\), and \(c\) irreducible representations in \(\mathbb{Z}^p\). It is shown that \(a\), \(b\) and \(c\) can be found solving a system of appropriate linear equations in the fields \(\mathbb{Z}_p\) and \(\mathbb{Z}_q\). It is also shown that solving similar equations one can calculate the number of connected components of \(p\)-group actions on tori.
