The paper investigates the coupling between a quantum nonlinear dimer with a phonon bath, which is used to described energy transport at finite temperature. The two-site realization of the Davydov model is recalled, after some backgrounds on small polaron and polaron quantum eigenstate, the polaron-phonon coupling is discussed and one derives a quantum kinetic equation for the reduced density matrix. Numerical results are provided.
