Summary: One version of the celebrated \textit{Green-Tao} theorem [Ann. Math. (2) 167, No. 2, 481-547 (2008; Zbl 1191.11025)], can be stated as: For every positive integer \(k\) and every positive integer \(c\), there are positive integers \(a\) and \(b\), with \(b\) greater than \(c\), such that \(an+b\) is a prime for all \(n \in \{0,1, \dots, k-1\}\). The existing proof of this theorem is far from elementary, but it can be stated in the simple language of Peano arithmetic without the induction axiom. In the present article, the author proves that the theorem of Green-Tao preserves its validity in the set of positive elements of the polynomial ring with coefficients in \(\mathbb Z\).
