The authors study the structure and properties of \(\omega\)-limit sets of the so-called \textit{triangular induced map}. To define the latter, recall that if \(X\) is a compact metric space, then the hyperspace \(C(X)\) of all nonempty compact connected subsets of \(X\) is also a compact metric space when equipped with a Hausdorff metric. Furthermore, every continuous map \(T: X\to X\) induces the \textit{induced map} \(F: C(X)\to C(X)\). A \textit{triangular induced map} is a map \(\tilde{F}: C(X)\times C(X)\to C(X)\times C(X)\) given by \(\tilde{F}(x,y)=(\mathcal{F}(x),\mathcal{G}(x,y))\), where \(\mathcal{F}: C(X)\to C(X)\) is an induced map and \(\{\mathcal{G}(x,\cdot): C(X)\to C(X)\}_{x\in X}\) is a family of induced maps depending continuously on \(x\in C(X)\). The authors describe some subsets of \(C([0,1])\), which can be \(\omega\)-limit sets located on the fibre for an induced triangular map \(\tilde{F}\) restricted to \([0,1]\times C([0,1])\) (note that this set is always \(\tilde{F}\)-invariant).
