Weak (scalar) forms of the two types of integrability in the title are defined for functions on compact intervals in \(\mathbb{R}^m\) into a Banach space and it is shown that these two notions are equivalent iff the Banach space contains no copy of \(C_0\). by introducing a concept of McShane-tightness to pass from weak (scalar) McShane integrability to Pettis integrability. A scalar McShane version of the Vitali theorem is derived from the results.
