The authors consider the following initial value problem for set functional differential equation involving causal operator with memory \[ \begin{aligned} & D_HU(t)=Q(U,\Phi_0)(t), \,\, t\in (t_0,T],\\ & U_{t_{0}}=\Phi_0\in C_1, \end{aligned} \] where \(Q(U,\Phi_0)(t): E_0\to E\) is a causal or a Volterra operator with memory, \(E_0, E\) are two given Banach spaces. By using the techniques of the measure of non-compactness, the existence of solutions has been established. Moreover, by means of the Arzelá-Ascoli theorem, the maximal and minimal solutions are obtained.
