Supersymmetry is the basic tool of contemporary high energy theoretical physics. For this reason, a classification of various supersymmetric models is an important task. In this paper the classification of off-shell worldsheet supersymmetries is undertaken. Starting from worldline supermultiplets and combining them in appropriate way (in terms of tensoring and projecting by discrete symmetries), the authors construct both off-shell (so-called ambidextrous) supermultiplets, as well as half-shell (or unidextrous) supermultiplets, of worldsheet \((p,q)\)-supersymmetry. Various constructions in the paper have a nice graphical representation in terms of the so-called adinkras. The paper should be of interest to everyone with deeper interest in supersymmetric structures. It is amusing to see how the classification presented in the paper can be conducted, however some background is necessary to fully appreciate it. In fact, the authors classify worldsheet superultiplets with \(p+q\leq 8\); technically inclined readers might take up the challenge posed by the authors and extend classification (necessarily with computer support) beyond this bound, up to \(p+q\leq 32\). In future perspective finding physical applications of various supermultiplets classified in the paper would also be of great interest.
