The authors study completely bounded polynomials between operator spaces. Using the Schur, Kronecker and matrix product of matrices, they define three spaces of completely bounded polynomials: the spaces of Schur, Kronecker and Haagerup polynomials. They show that each of these spaces can be realised as the set of completely bounded mappings on an appropriate space of symmetric tensors. Completely bounded multilinear mappings are also discussed. The authors pay particular attention to completely bounded polynomials on maximal operator spaces and to completely bounded polynomials on \(\ell_\infty\).
