The authors considers the boundary value problem of the form \[ (p(x)u'(x))'= q(x)f(x,u(x),p(x)u'(x)),\qquad x\in (0,1], \] \[ u(0) = \alpha_{1},\, \beta_{1}u(1)+ \gamma_{1}u'(1)=\eta_{1}, \] where \( \alpha_{1}, \beta_{1}> 0\), \(\gamma_{1},\eta_{1}\) are real constants, the function \(f\) is locally Lipschitz and \( p(0)=0 \). The solution of the problem is decomposed in the polynomial series \[ u(x)= \sum^{\infty}_{n=0} u_{n}(x). \] Using the presentation of the solution by the Green function of the differential operator, the authors construct a recursive scheme to compute the terms of the approximate solutions. The convergence of this method is proved and the numerical illustration is given for three examples.
