The authors deal with analogues of the Beltrami equation which are generated by the Fueter and the Moisil-Teodoresku operators for (not necessarily canonical) structural sets. First, the following is proved: { Theorem 2.1.} Consider the equation \[ {}^{\varphi}Du+ \left(\frac{\frac{1}{2}+e_{3}x_{0}-e_{2}x_{1}}{\frac{1}{4}+x_{0}^{2}+x_{1}^{2}}\right)^{2}{^\psi}Du=\left(-\frac{1}{2}+e_{3}x_{0}-e_{2}x_{1}\right)F \] for F\(\in C^{1}\) in a neighbourhood of \(\left(0,0,x_{3}^{0}\right)\). If \(u\) is solution in a neighbourhood of \(\left(0,0,x_{3}^{0}\right)\) which belongs to \(C^{1}\) then F\((x_{3})\) is analytic at \(x_{3}^{0}\). Here \(\varphi =\{1,e_{1},e_{2}\},\;\psi=\{1,e_{1},-e_{2}\}\) and \({^\varphi}D\) and \({^\psi}D\) are the respective Moisil-Teodoresku-type operators. Then the above equation is modified in such way that the new Beltrami equation has no solutions in the Hölder space \(C^{1,\alpha}\). Finally, a relation between the local solvability of the quaternionic Beltrami equation and Hörmander's compatibility condition is studied.
