The quantum double suspension of a spectral triple was introduced by \textit{P. S. Chakraborty} and \textit{S. Sundar} [J. Funct. Anal. 260, No. 9, 2716--2741 (2011; Zbl 1213.58018)]. The authors of the paper under review study the spectral triples satisfying certain conditions, which allow explicit calculations of the the double suspension of a spectral triple. In particular, their construction implies the Connes calculus for odd dimensional quantum spheres.
