In this paper, the author characterizes the topological components of the space of composition operators acting on Fock spaces (over \(\mathbb C^n\)). This completes some known results on classical spaces of holomorphic functions (see [\textit{P. S. Bourdon}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 279, No. 1, 228--245 (2003; Zbl 1043.47021); \textit{E. A. Gallardo-Gutiérrez} et al., Adv. Math. 219, No. 3, 986--1001 (2008; Zbl 1187.47021); \textit{P. Gorkin} et al., Contemp. Math. 328, 177--188 (2003; Zbl 1060.47031); \textit{T. Hosokawa} et al., Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 130, No. 6, 1765--1773 (2002; Zbl 1008.47031); \textit{B. MacCluer} et al., Integral Equations Oper. Theory 40, No. 4, 481--494 (2001; Zbl 1062.47511); \textit{J. Moorhouse}, J. Funct. Anal. 219, No. 1, 70--92 (2005; Zbl 1087.47032); \textit{C. Toews}, Integral Equations Oper. Theory 48, No. 2, 265--280 (2004; Zbl 1054.47021)] of the bibliography, for instance). The main theorem is Theorem 1.2. Moreover (see Theorem 2.3), the path component and the component are the same. A~key tool is Lemma 2.2, which states that \(\| C_\varphi-C_\psi\|\geq 1\) as soon as the linear parts of \(\varphi\) and \(\psi\) differ on one ``extreme'' point.
