The \(m\)-th root Finsler metrics originate from physics and are now an important class of metrics studied extensively in Finsler geometry. In this paper, the authors study some geometric properties of \(m\)-th root Finsler metrics. They prove, among other things, that an \(m\)-th root metric with isotropic mean Berwald curvature must be a weakly Berwald metric, and an \(m\)-th root metric with isotropic Landsberg curvature must be weakly Landsberg. Some properties related to conformal change of \(m\)-th root metrics are also studied.
