A magnetic field on a pseudo-Riemannian manifold \((M, g)\) is a closed 2-form on \(M\), to which one may associate a skew-symmetric tensor field \(\phi\) defined by \[ g(\phi(X), Y) = F(X, Y) \] for any vector fields \(X\), \(Y\) on \(M\). The magnetic curves of \(F\) are curves \(\gamma\) on \(M\) satisfying the Lorentz equation \[ \nabla_{\dot{\gamma}} \, \dot{\gamma} = \phi (\dot{\gamma}) \] In this paper, the authors obtain a complete classification of the magnetic curves for the magnetic field of an arbitrary three-dimensional normal paracontact metric structure equipped with a Killing characteristic vector field.
