Principle bundles are an important topic in differential geometry. They have wide applications in physics. The present book deals with principle bundles and their relevance in physics with a ground work on differential geometry. Up to Chapter 5 of this book, we find basic terminologies of differential geometry like differentiable manifolds, vector bundles, exterior algebra, differential forms, etc. In Chapter 6 integral curves of vector fields are represented with a conclusive section on the Lie derivative. Lie groups with their properties and examples are found in Chapter 7. Frobenius theorem is discussed in Chapter 8. Chapters 9 to 11 give the important materials on principle bundles, their Ehresmann connections, and the curvature of these connections. These three chapters constitute the backbone of the book. From Chapter 12, the physics part of the book begins. Up to Chapter 16 different applications of principle bundle theory is illustrated with interesting examples and fruitful discussions. A lot of expositions is provided to give physical motivations to people with mathematics background. The book ends with some important advice from the author in Chapter 17 followed by an appendix containing fruitful discussions on exercises. The book provides a mixed flavor of geometry and physics. Beginning with basic stuff of differential geometry it arrives in modern topics of physics with a high speed via the principle bundle. The book will be helpful to the graduate and under graduate students of mathematics and physics. It can also be an informative hand book of the researchers in differential geometry and physics.
