Multiplicity results of breathers for the discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equations with unbounded potentials (Q2515307)

The authors consider a class of discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equations with unbounded potentials. They obtain some multiplicity results of breathers of the discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equations by using critical point theory. The main theorem asserts that under some basic hypotheses the discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation with unbounded potential has infinitely many solutions in some Hilbert space and these solutions exponentially decay at infinity.
