In this well written article, the author extends results from [\textit{U. Bunke} and \textit{M. Olbrich}, Selberg zeta and theta functions. A differential operator approach. Mathematical Research. 83. Berlin: Akademie Verlag (1995; Zbl 0831.58001)] on the Selberg zeta function of a compact locally symmetric space of negative sectional curvature to non-compact real hyperbolic manifolds of finite volume under certain assumptions. He proves that the Selberg zeta function associated to the locally homogeneous vector bundle induced by \(\sigma\in\widehat M\) (i.e., a bundle over the unit-sphere bundle of the manifold) has a meromorphic continuation to \(\mathbb C\). Moreover, he gives a detailed description of their zeros and poles in terms of the spectral information of the manifold. The author also announces a result in dimension 3 which relates the analytic torsion introduced in [\textit{W. Müller} and the author, J. Funct. Anal. 263, No. 9, 2615--2675 (2012; Zbl 1277.58018)] and the Reidemeister torsion introduced in [\textit{P. Menal-Ferrer} and \textit{J. Porti}, J. Topol. 7, No. 1, 69--119 (2014; Zbl 1302.57044)], in order to check a Cheeger-Müller theorem for 3-dimensional non-compact hyperbolic manifolds.
