Hypersymplectic structures on Courant algebroids (Q2516258)

This work introduces and studies hypersymplectic structures and, more generally, \(\varepsilon\)-hypersymplectic structures on Courant algebroids, a notion that encompasses hypercomplex structures and hyper-Kähler structures. The authors prove the existence of a one-to-one correspondence between hypersymplectic and hyper-Kähler structures. Many interesting examples and particular instances are discussed. Most results are established in the more general pre-Courant framework, and hold without any change in the Courant algebroid case.
