The authors prove, among others, that if \(A:C^\infty(G)\to \mathcal{D}'(G)\) is left-invariant, and its symbol \(\sigma_A\) satisfies \[ \|\mathbb{D}\sigma_A(\xi)||_{\text{op}}\leq C_\alpha\langle\xi\rangle^{-| \alpha|} \] for all \([\xi]\in \hat{G}\) and all multi-indices with \(|\alpha|\leq \kappa\) (the smallest even integer larger than \(\frac{1}{2} \dim G\)), then \(A\) is of weak type (1,1) and \(L^p\)-bounded for all \(1<p<\infty\). Applications to some central multipliers and non-central operators are given.
