A class of periodic integral equations with numerical solution by the fully discrete projection method (Q2516555)

The paper is concerned with a class of periodic integral equations of the first kind. To obtain a good approximation, it is necessary to use a regularisation parameter which must be chosen carefully. A too large parameter leads to instability and a too small parameter gives a high error. The paper proposes a balancing principle to derive a suitable parameter value.
