The aim of the article is to study the large-time behavior of solutions and the existence and nonexistence of nonconstant positive steady states of the steady-state problem of the system of the following elliptic equations: \[ \begin{alignedat}{2} -d_1\triangle u & =u(r_1-a_1u)-\frac{mu}{u+b}-c_1uv,\quad & \text{ in } & \Omega; \\-d_2\triangle v & =v(r_2-\frac{c_2v}{u+k}),\quad & \text{ in }& \Omega; \\\frac{\partial u}{\partial n} & =\frac{\partial v}{\partial n}=0, \quad & \text{ in }& \Omega.\end{alignedat} \] This is a diffusive predator-prey model with modified Leslie-Gower schemes and additive Allee effect on prey under homogeneous Neumann boundary condition. The authors investigate the qualitative properties of this system, such as the persistence, local and global asymptotic stability of its unique positive constant equilibrium point and also the existence and nonexistence of nonconstant positive steady states of the reaction-diffusion system, which reflect the effect of large diffusivity.
