In the paper under review the author studies the centers of infinitesimal Hecke algebras associated with \(\mathfrak{sl}_2\) and its natural \(2\)-dimensional representation over an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(p>2\). In particular, he proves that such algebras are finitely generated module over their centers, and that the Azumaya and smooth loci of the centers coincide.
