The paper is a survey on parabolic subalgebras in Lie superalgebras. In the same time it can be considered also as a monograph because all statements are provided with proofs. In the first chapter \(\mathbb Z\)-graded algebras and superalgebras are introduced. There is given a description of gradings of Lie superalgebra \(\mathfrak g\) in terms of maximal tori of the Lie algebra \(\text{Der}_0\, \mathfrak g\). Related root system and weight-space decompositions of \(\mathfrak g\) are introduced. A parabolic subalgebra in a Lie (super)algebra \(L\) with a grading \(\mathfrak g=\bigoplus_{i\in \mathbb Z}\mathfrak g_i\) is defined as the subalgebra \(\mathfrak p=\bigoplus_{i\geq 0}\mathfrak p_i\). It is shown that for main types of simple Lie superalgebras this definition is equivalent to the classical one. The paper deals with the case of a reductive complex Lie superalgebras which means that the Lie algebra \(\text{ad}\, \mathfrak g_o\) is algebraically reductive. In the second chapter relations between weight-space decompositions with respect to a Cartan subalgebra \(\mathfrak t\) of \(\mathfrak g_0\) are established. It is shown that \(\text{ad}\,\mathfrak t\) is either a maximal torus or a subalgebra of codimension 1 in a maximal torus. As a corollary a description of gradings of \(\mathfrak g\) is obtained. The main chapter 3 contains a classification of parabolic subalgebras of all classical simple Lie superalgebras. In the last forth chapter the authors consider parabolic subalgebras as stabilizers of flags in classical linear Lie superalgebras.
