In 1990, the author together with J. F. Rigby published a paper that contained the first visualizations in the Euclidean plane of several geometric configurations \((n_4)\). After that time the study of geometric configurations \((n_4)\) slowly took on pace. Details can be found in the author's paper [``Configurations of points and lines'', The Coxeter legacy. Reflections and projections. Providence, RI: American Mathematical Society (AMS). 179--225 (2006; Zbl 1105.52013)]. Ludwig Danzer's example of a configuration \((35_4)\) some twenty years ago (see also Cayley, Schläfli, Cremona and others for similar constructions) provided an example of a geometric configuration for which no visually attractive presentation was found despite its high degree of combinatorial symmetry. The author presents new geometric configurations \((35_4)\) together with nice visualizations of these objects and highlights the history how they have been found.
