The authors consider acute triangulations of flat tori. The edges of all triangles of these triangulations are segments and have angles less than \(\frac{\pi}{2}\). It is proved that every flat torus can be triangulated into 16 acute triangles. It is given an example of flat torus where the number of triangles is 14.
