The authors discuss the influence of computational errors on the convergence of iterates of nonexpansive mappings in reflexive Banach spaces and complete metric spaces. Next, it is shown that the orbits of a mapping defined on a complete metric space converge to a unique fixed point. In addition to this, it is also shown that, for a nonsummable sequence of errors and any initial point, there exists a nonconvergent inexact orbit with a convergent subsequence.
