This very interesting paper introduces a new type of Riemannian geometry on a given manifold, that includes several remarkable structures: Ricci and almost Ricci solitons, Yamabe solitons and quasisolitons, conformal gradient solitons, quasi-Einstein and Einstein manifolds, \(\rho\)-Einstein solitons. A main topic studied here concerns existence, rigidity and classification results for the class of gradient Einstein-type manifolds with vanishing Bach tensor along the integral curves of the potential function \(f\). Let us remark that this condition is weaker than local conformal flatness.
