Let \(W_\Lambda\) be the Weierstrass elliptic function generated by the lattice \(\Lambda\); and let \(S(W_\Lambda)\) denote its associated Schwarzian derivative. The following are the main results in this paper. Theorem 1. If \(\Lambda\) is a real rhombic lattice and \(S(W_\Lambda)< 0\), then i)\ The real immediate basin of attraction of a topologically attracting periodic orbit of \(W_\Lambda\) contains a real critical point ii)\ If \(y\in \mathbb R\) is in a rationally neutral \(p\)-cycle for \(W_\Lambda\), then it is topologically attracting; i.e.: there exists an open interval \(I\) such that \(\lim_{k\to \infty}W_\Lambda^{kp}(x)=y\), for every \(x\in I\). Theorem 2. If \(\Lambda\) is a vertical real rhombic lattice, then \(S(W_\Lambda)< 0\). Theorem 3. If \(\Lambda\) is a vertical real rhombic lattice and the real critical value is in \(J(W_\Lambda)\), then the real and imaginary axes are contained in \(J(W_\Lambda)\). Theorem 4. Let \(\Gamma\) be a standard real vertical rhombic lattice, and \(\gamma_1\) be the smallest positive real lattice point. If \(m\) is any positive integer and \(k=[1/(m\gamma_1)]^{1/3}\) then, on the lattice \(\Lambda=k\Gamma\), we have \(J(W_\Lambda)=C_{\infty}\). Further aspects involving these results are also discussed.
