The authors investigate the existence of a solution to measure driven equations (also known as measure differential equations) of the form \[ x(t)=x_0+\int_0^tf(s,x(s))\,dg(s), \] where \(f\) and \(x\) are Banach space-valued functions, \(g\) is nondecreasing left continuous, and the integral is a type of the strong Kurzweil integral; see for instance [\textit{Š. Schwabik} and \textit{G. Ye}, Topics in Banach space integration. Series in Real Analysis 10. Hackensack, NJ: World Scientific (2005; Zbl 1088.28008)]. The approach used in this paper encompasses the measure of noncompactness and related fixed point theorems. The paper is relevant not only by the results in the theory of measure driven equations but also by its contribution in the frames of Hausdorff measure of noncompactness in the space of regulated functions. The conditions for the existence of solution seem more general then those presented in [\textit{B. Satco}, Nonlinear Anal., Hybrid Syst. 13, 22--31 (2014; Zbl 1295.45003)]. An example illustrates this fact.
