On cohomology of Kleinian groups. III: Singular Eichler integrals (Q2544830)

\textit{L. Bers} [Acta Math. 127, 11--22 (1971; Zbl 0235.30024)] has shown how to construct parabolic Eichler integrals for Kleinian groups with prescribed singularities at finitely many points. Using this result, new proofs of the author's structure theorems [Ann. Math. (2) 89, 533--556 (1969; Zbl 0193.04003); ibid. 90, 576--590 (1969; Zbl 0172.10602)] for the Eichler cohomology groups for Kleinian groups that represent surfaces of finite type are given. A Riemann-Roch type theorem for meromorphic Eichler integrals is obtained and, in special cases, a lower bound for the number of linearly independent holomorphic Eichler integrals.
